MTV Movie Awards 2022: The Boldest and Trendiest Looks on the Red Carpet

Celebrities embraced daring trends at the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards.

This Sunday, June 5, the MTV Movie & TV Awards 2022 started with actress Vanessa Hudgens as the host. She hit the red carpet with seven looks throughout the night. With an incredible style that she has been demonstrating at the Met Gala 2022 and then at the Oscars Awards, the actress is definitely a Queen of fashion!

For the latter, she chose an elegant black sequined Michael Kors dress, while at the Met Gala, she wore a sheer black Moschino dress. For the MTV event in Santa Monica, California’s Barker Hangar, she dazzled in an incredible Vera Wang design. Without a doubt, she never ceases to amaze us!

Many of our favourite celebrities attended the event. Of course, these stars brought their best fashion on the red carpet as they dressed to impress.

From our ‘it girl’ Olivia Rodrigo with her 2000s style, to our Latina queen, JLo, who gave an emotional speech while receiving the Generation Award, here are the best styles from this year’s MTV Movie & TV Awards.

Sydney Sweeney arrived at the awards show in a custom Miu Miu look designed with a pink crop top and sparkly miniskirt.

Vanessa Hudgens kicked off the MTV Video and Music Awards in a custom royal blue Vera Wang minidress, accented with a flowing train for a dramatic serve on the red carpet.

The winner of the most frightening performance for her role in Scream, Ortega paired a sculpted minidress by Valentino with diamond jewellery by Tiffany & Co.

Carson opted to wear a pleated dress with voluminous sleeves from Iris van Herpen’s Fall 2017 couture collection, paired with tanzanite and diamond jewellery from Marli New York.

Jennifer Lopez accepted the Generation Award in a Mônot look. Lopez’s dress was designed with a plunging neckline and cutouts at her hips. She paired the black gown with her own DSW by Jennifer Lopez shoes.

Olivia Rodrigo attended the awards show in a corseted black dress. Rodrigo’s stylists, Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo told Vogue they think the vintage Jean Paul Gaultier dress is from 1987.
