Every year, the LuisaViaRoma x Unicef Gala takes place on the Italian island of Capri. A mix of international jet setters, top models and Hollywood stars gather to bid on auction items to benefit Unicef.
Hosted by actor Jamie Foxx, the event raised €8 million through an auction to support the organization’s emergency programs for Ukrainian and Syrian citizens. The event also included tickets to the premiere of Leonardo DiCaprio’s latest film.
Nothing could match the expectations for this year’s performer: newlywed Jennifer Lopez delivered a sensational performance during the exclusive evening, marking the superstar’s first appearance on stage since marrying Ben Affleck. Sporting two incredible outfits on the stage, the actress and singer stole the show. Her first look was a stunning translucent yellow turtleneck dress and high ponytail, while her second was a bold custom animal print ensemble by designer Roberto Cavalli.
The sixth iteration of the LuisaViaRoma for UNICEF gala was the biggest yet, in terms of expectations and attendance. Saturday’s event featured around 900 guests, including celebrities Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Casey Affleck, Jared Leto, Spike Lee, Haim and Ansel Elgort, among many others.
