“The Carolina Herrera Resort 2024 was held this evening in the heart of Rio de Janeiro, inspired by the city’s exuberant joy and sensuality. At the heart of this celebration are the people of Brazil, boasting a 100% Brazilian cast, walking to a soundtrack of national icon Gal Costa. Mother Nature and the tropical Brazilian climate proved to be the ultimate muse. As guests arrived to enjoy sunset cocktails and a breathtaking rainbow spanning the expanse of the stage, a rainstorm arrived at the show location for a prolonged and unexpected period. Ultimately, guests were escorted to the adjoining party in a jungle greenhouse built for the occasion, as models were filed in the rain barefoot holding their shoes, evoking an emotional and romantic image of the Girl from Ipanema.” – from Carolina Herrera.

They also elegantly glided down the slightly damp, rose-coloured runway, walking barefoot and holding their shoes with a touch of daring elegance. This precautionary measure showcased their resilience and added an authentic twist to the evening’s affair.
The collection drew inspiration from the joy and vitality of nature, featuring bold floral prints, vibrant colours, and delicate silhouettes crafted with luxurious fabrics such as silk and taffeta.
