Burberry’s Latest Summer Monogram Campaign with Supermodel Gisele Bündchen

A well-known face is back for the new Burberry TB Monogram 2022 campaign.

Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci unveiled his latest Burberry TB Summer Monogram, a collection that celebrated the brand’s duality, fusing and melding “the past and the present to create a collision of iconicity, reflected in the print of the collection”. An incredible and fresh campaign fronted by Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen.

In the campaign, Gisele poses alongside unreleased portraits of herself, captured by duo Luigi & Iango ten years prior. They both said, “working with family is always the key to success.” Inspired by a collision of icons, the campaign exuded effortless beauty and saw Bündchen at complete ease.

I was so happy to see Riccardo again after such a long time and shooting with my sweet friends Luigi and Iango is always a blast. It was so special spending time with everyone, we had so much fun on set.” The model said of the campaign in a press release. And, with these words, she returned in front of a camera, on the occasion of the launch of the new TB Summer Monogram campaign.

Launched in August 2018, the Thomas Burberry monogram was designed by Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci and British Art Director and Graphic Designer Peter Saville. In its short life, Burberry’s TB line has seen illustrious testimonials, such as Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner. It was Naomi Campbell who posed for the TB Monogram collection, starting a glorious journey into the 1990s. This year, that journey went through the magnetic and fascinating face of Gisele B.

Riccardo Tisci created an innovative storyline, where Gisele as the main star posed in front of backdrops of images captured a decade earlier. Moreover, the campaign brought an entire team of experts together, including stylist Suzanne Koller and makeup artist Georgi Sandev. They could perfectly capture the magic and the essence of the campaign.

The TB Summer Monogram 2022 campaign aimed to unite two Burberry’s icons to form a bold print that symbolized a synergy of the past and the present. Moreover, the classic Check merged with the TB Monogram – a motif introduced by Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci.

The collection for men and women features a range variety of pieces including gabardine trench coats, silk dresses, hoodies, cropped tops, leggings eyewear, wool-blend cardigans, cotton shirts, swimwear, high-top sneaker and sunglasses.

Regarding menswear, the collection also includes cotton sweatshirts and Oxford shirts, silk-blended bomber jackets, hooded jackets and wool sweaters. Meanwhile, on the accessories front, there are bucket and baseball caps, Lola and Freya tote bags, linen high-top sneakers, contrast-trim leather point–toe pumps, neoprene sandals, sunglasses and a jacquard-woven towel.

The new TB Summer Monogram collection is available to purchase online and in selected Burberry stores.
