Copenhagen Fashion Week continues its 20th anniversary celebrations, following a Fall 2026 season that proved why the Danish capital is considered the unofficial fifth stop on the global fashion calendar.
CPHFW is once again in a class of its own for Spring 2027, running from August 3 to August 7 and featuring more than 34 runway shows and presentations from some of the most influential names in Scandinavian fashion, including Henrik Vibskov, Baum und Pferdgarten, and By Malene Birger.
This season also marks an important debut for New York City-based label Collina Strada. Designer Hillary Taymour takes part in Copenhagen Fashion Week as the International Guest Slot on August 6, bringing the brand’s distinctive approach to sustainability, experimentation, and playful femininity to the Danish capital. New names including Stem, Taus, and Renè will also unveil their latest collections, alongside fresh faces returning to the CPHFW schedule, such as Anne Sofie Madsen and Nicklas Skovgaard.

Collina Strada
Taking this season’s International Guest Slot, Collina Strada presented its SS27 collection against a dramatic backdrop of violinists and Danish wind. There’s something refreshing about a brand returning to its roots, and that’s exactly what By Malene Birger did for Spring 2027. After six years away from the runway, creative director Emilie Martinsen-Kønigsfeld chose to present the collection in the gardens of her parents’ home just outside Copenhagen, a deeply personal setting that reflected the collection’s message of homecoming.
It wasn’t simply about returning to Fashion Week. It was about reminding everyone what the brand has always stood for.
The collection followed a woman through the course of a day. It opened with crisp whites and soft neutrals that gradually shifted into warm golden tones before settling into rich blacks for evening. Even the smallest details supported that idea, from sun-shaped buttons and delicate sun motifs to a soundtrack that echoed the changing light. It was a thoughtful way of telling a story without making it feel overly theatrical.
What stood out most was how naturally everything came together. Relaxed tailoring, fluid dresses, softly draped separates, and lightweight outerwear all felt like pieces that belonged in the same wardrobe.
