Glamorous red carpet fashion has once again returned to the annual Venice Film Festival. Festivities in Italy have kicked on August 31 and will run until September 10. This year, the famed festival is celebrating its 79th edition with incredible upcoming new films premieres, and of course, fashion has also taken place on the red carpet. Not only is the festival known as the premier events in cinema, but it also marks a high point in the fashion world, with actors, models, and celebrities regularly doling out one lavish red carpet look after another.
Penelope Cruz and Julianne Moore – who re serving as the festival’s jury president this year – looked completely stunning in their incredible ensembles. Penelope wore an Alaïa confetti-print gown with a leather heart-shaped bustier while Julianne Moore went viral in a black Armani Privé gown at the premiere of Tár. Also, Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio, donned an unforgettable look, wearing a fuchsia chiffon number at the White Noise premiere. Other standout looks include Timothée Chalamet’s Haider Ackermann blood-red ensemble.

The all-black dress featured a plunging V-shaped neckline which allowed room for her glistening Cartier jewels. The plunging V-neck featured an architectural structure at the bodice. She kept her hair in a straight style, tucked behind her ears, and kept her make-up simple, with a subtle brown smokey eye and nude pink lip.

The satin black dress featured a low back and a sprawling train with spaghetti straps and a V neckline. She also wore a gold bangle and black strappy stilettos. The 26-year-old actor Timothy Chalamet looked fantastic at the premiere of his upcoming new film Bones and All wearing a custom blood red ensemble by designer Haider Ackermann from its Spring 2018 ready-to-wear collection. The look featured a shimmering backless halter top, with an attached scarf around the neck, and trousers. He completed the look with black boots, bracelets and silver rings.
