Emily in Paris Season 3: Everything You Need To Know

Find out everything we know about Emily in Paris season 3.

Emily in Paris

Emily In Paris is here to stay, and we could not be more excited to see what Lily Collins’s fashionable character in the City of Love looks like when season three premieres.

It has been more than a year since Netflix subscribers were thrilled with the first season, which features the main character Emily Cooper (Collins), navigating her marketing job and being complicated with her love life and friendships in Paris.

In December 2020, the streaming platform released the second season ahead of Christmas 2021. The second season debuted in Netflix Global Top 10 and topped the list in 94 countries with 107.6 million hours watched in its first four days of streaming.

After fans questioned whether there would be a third season of Emily In Paris in early 2022, Netflix confirmed that third and fourth seasons are on the way.

In June, the official Instagram account for “Emily in Paris” posted a photo of a script for the upcoming season and wrote, “Back at a table together, and it’s not for a client meeting or dinner. production on season 3 is starting now! 💕”.

During season two, fans have seen Emily recover after her love story with Gabriel. Emily also endures a turbulent friendship with her friend Camille and feels in love with her new love interest Alfie. Sylvie leaves Savoir and asks Emily to join her team full-time in Paris Paris instead of returning to Chicago. Finally, she also learns that Gabriel and Camille got back together and moved back into the apartment below hers. Emily is trying to build things up with her new love interest Alfie (Lucien Lavizconde), who has admitted to staying in France just for her. How will things play out?

‘Emily in Paris Season 3’: Plot

Emily in Paris

Emily in Paris creator and co-executive producer Darren Star has dropped some hints about where season 3 will take Emily and company, literally and figuratively.

Season 3 will be a season of “making big decisions” for Emily, as the Season 2 finale left the show’s heroine at a crossroads for her career and heart. Will she accept the job offer with Sylvie, who just quit? Will she return to Chicago, fleeing heartbreak after discovering that Camille and Gabriel are back together? Or will she stay in Paris and try to start over? In the final moments of the season 2 finale episode, Emily calls Sylvie to tell her that she has made a decision, but the scene goes black before the decision is revealed.

The series star teased a bit about what’s to come with the arrival of season 3. “More love triangles, more drama, more laughs, more fashion, more locations, more France!” said Lily, and she also promised that there would be “lots of suspenseful moments” to prepare the show for its already confirmed fourth season.
